Hello fellow Central Indiana ISSA members. The annual Officer elections for your Central Indiana chapter are now open for volunteers and nominations.

Hello fellow Central Indiana ISSA members. The annual Officer elections for your Central Indiana chapter is now open.

We need volunteers to keep the chapter running and for just a few hours a month you can help our group continue its quest for knowledge. The following positions are open for a two-year term (2021 -2022) starting January 1, 2021.

•  President – the executive Officer of the Chapter and shall preside at all meetings
•  Communications – manage communications with members, sponsors, and event venues
•  Sponsor Relations – responsible for driving and managing the Chapter sponsors, and recruiting presenters for monthly Chapter meetings
•  Secretary- records and keep minutes of all meetings and shall maintain the official records of the Chapter.

This is an opportunity to both make an active contribution to the Information Security community and learn and collaborate with like-minded peers.

While I enjoyed my time as President, I will no longer have the pleasure leading a great group of team members. There are a lot of good things we did over the years, and a lot more to come, but outside factors make it difficult to allow me to focus on this group. We need someone who can, and I hope that one of you consider stepping in to lead the group forward.

The elections are now open and end on December 1st, 2020. We will announce results during our December meeting. If you are interested in any of the above roles, submit your name as a write in candidate or reach out to the Officers at officers@ci-issa.org with your name and interest.

Thank you for your continued interest in the chapter.
