Central Indiana ISSA
The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA)® is a not-for-profit, international organization of information security professionals and practitioners. It provides educational forums, publications and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill and professional growth of its members.
The Central Indiana chapter of the Information Systems Security Association, ISSA, was established on September 22, 2005 after a group of Information Security professionals revived a dormant local chapter. Membership is open to anyone interested in Information Security, and related professions. The members come from a wide variety of companies, public and private, large and small. The group is very collegial and we look forward to meeting you. After the first few meetings, membership is required through the national ISSA organization.
The CI-ISSA chapter is affiliated with several other local and national professional organizations, including:
- (ISC)2 – International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium
- Indiana InfraGard – A public-private collaboration for infrastructure protection
- ISACA – Information System Audit and Control Association
- InSPN – Indiana Security and Privacy Network
